The Royal Gala, the Cinderella moment of the season occurring on the Monday night before Mardi Gras, captures audiences with its enchanting splendor. The gala features this season’s full courts of 43 krewes with kings, queens, royal dukes and duchesses, captains, courtesans, and jesters followed by a night of music and dancing. Mardi Gras royalty is chosen at individual krewe balls. Tickets purchased in advance are $4, at the door, $5 for adults and free for children 5 and under. |
